Doesn't matter if you went to art school, business school, or the school of figuring-it-out-as-you-go. If you're building a creative career, lock in.

This is for you.

If you're:

  • Worried about losing yourself trying to fit into an industry that wasn't built for you

  • Navigating toxic environments and wondering if it's supposed to be this hard

  • Stuck between "pay your dues" advice and bills that are due now

  • Looking for mentorship but only finding closed doors

  • Questioning if AI is about to take your job before you even get one

  • Talented but tired of feeling like you're figuring this out alone

Everything they don’t teach you but expect you to know.

How to take feedback without spiraling.

How to advocate for yourself without being labeled "difficult."

How to do little things like small talk or salary negotiations.

Check back often. We have a lot to discuss.

Say what they really need is a mentor, but almost half have never had one.

We hear you loud and clear. Over 100 creatives with 0-3 years of experience had their say in our creative career survey.

I’ve been there, done that and drew a map.

I started Baby Food for Creatives in 2015 because I was tired of watching talented people fail at things nobody taught them. It grew to 500K+ readers organically — no ads, no gimmicks, just the stuff people actually needed to hear.

I’ve spent the last two decades creating work for some of the biggest brands out there. Going from intern to Creative Director. Through parental leaves, layoffs, comebacks, and every awkward conversation in between. I've had an amazing career and I’ve made a lot of mistakes, and I will not be gatekeeping any part of it.

  • She strikes a difficult classroom balance – she's both fun and demanding. She takes no prisoners, yet she's encouraging. She wants everyone to succeed.

  • If there is one thing any creative needs when they are starting a career in advertising, it's someone to light a fire under their feet. Neisha was one of those teachers that would never settle for your best because she knew you were capable of something better.

    Francesco M.

  • She started an internship program, introduced the org to MAIP, Adcolor, and redefined our approach to an entire industry. Along the way she mentored me and many others and reshaped our team. She challenged, she led, she taught, and we were all better for it.

    Eric S.

  • Neisha Tweed is one of the best things to happen to my career

    Jae S.

  • It was especially valuable to hear about her experiences working in the industry and get a look into her own creative and collaborative processes.
